ATOM BEARS COME BACK TO TIE UP ROUND ONE
ATOMS LOST 8 - 2, THEN WON 8 - 7!!!
ATOMS WILL GO TO BROOKS TO PLAY THE 3RD AND FINAL GAME OF ROUND ONE
The Atom Bears put up a good fight this weekend in their third and final game with Brooks. It was a real barn burner of a game but Brooks won out in the ending, defeating the Bears 6 - 5. Good fight Bears!

Banff Atom Bears Make Playoffs

Atom Bears made Tier 4 Blue Playoffs finding themselves in 4th position. The Atoms Bears replayed High River on Saturday, in High River and won, then tied Rockyford at home on Sunday.
The team order for playoff's is as follows:
Brooks
Okotoks
Canmore
Banff
First place plays forth place
Second place plays third place
Once this round is complete, the winners will play each other for a final Tier 4 Blue winner.

The Banff Atom Bears, after their protest, had a 7 - 4 win in a replayed game against High River! This means the Atom's have made playoffs! Way to Go Bears!!!
The first round of their playoff schdule is as follows:
Atoms play Brooks, in Brooks on Saturday, February 20th at 1:00
Atoms play Brooks, in Banff on Sunday, February 21st at 1:00

Atom Bearsdefeated by High River
The Banff Atom Bears travelled
to High River on Sunday Feb. 6 for
their last travel game of regular season
play. The Bears came on strong
in the first period and were leading
4-2 by the middle of the second.
However High River came back
hard and by the end of the second
period it was a tie game at four.
Then High River scored once
again in the third period and won
the game 5-4. Goals for the Bears
were scored by Max Lozeman,
Nigel Wedin, Scott Chisholm and
Kyle Burt. Iris Dmytriev was the player of
the game for her strong effort goaltending.
The Bears final game of regular
season is next weekend at the Banff
Arena on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 11:15
a.m. against Rockyford.
